A Superb African Mask from the Chokwe Tribe, Angola. This is a typical Male Chokwe Mask showing scarification marks to the cheeks. These masks are used in Circumcision and initiation ceremonies and to bring Fertility and Prosperity to the Village. This is a superb example of a Chokwe mask.
