A huge Vuvi Tribe Bellows from Gabon, West Africa. This is a superb example of an old Vuvi Bellows showing good signs of age and Tribal use. This bellows has a elegant head with a long neck and a face that is flat, covered with white pigments and displaying a triangular chin characteristic of Vuvi Tribe masks. This bellows was used by Vuvi blacksmiths when producing currency, tools and other items. These bellows help to activate the fire in order to melt the metal objects being produced.
This is a fine example of a rare Vuvi bellows and shows good signs of age and use.
